What is a simmer pot?

A simmer pot is a natural way to make your home smell amazing using real ingredients like dried fruits, herbs, spices, and botanicals. Instead of artificial sprays or candles, you gently heat everything in water on your stovetop or in a slow cooker, releasing a soft, clean fragrance throughout your home. Think cozy, fresh, and totally customizable

How do I use a simmer pot? 

It’s super simple (and kind of addictive once you start!)

Stovetop Method:

​

1. Add your simmer blend to a small pot

2. Cover with 2–3 cups of water

3. Bring to a gentle simmer

4. Reduce heat and enjoy the scent as it fills your home

5. Add water as needed to keep it from drying out

​

Slow Cooker Method:

 

1. Add blend + water to your slow cooker

2. Set to low or “warm”

3. Let it gently fragrance your space for hours

​

Pro tip: You can reuse your blend for several days! just add fresh water!

Are simmer pots safe for pets?

Yes, when used properly! Simmer pots are a safer alternative to many candles and plug-in air fresheners because they don’t release synthetic chemicals into the air. If you have very sensitive pets, start with shorter simmer times and see how they respond.

 

That said, always:

• Keep pots out of reach of curious paws

• Use well-ventilated spaces

• Avoid letting pets drink the water

How long do blends last before using?

When kept sealed in a cool, dry place, your simmer blends will stay fresh for 6–12 months. But let’s be honest…they usually get used way before that!
